Win Tickets to our RAFA Pitch at the British Library on Tuesday 23rd May
Are you an audio doc enthusiast or an avid podcast-listener ? Do you want to be in with a chance of attending our first ever Radio and Audio Funding Award Pitch? We’re giving away 20 free tickets to our exclusive event at the British Library on the afternoon of Tuesday 23rd May 2017.
Our followers are very important to us and have helped us to spread the word about our documentary funding across the globe. You’ve been with us since the beginning and we want to share our first RAFA pitch with you as part of the fantastic RAD/FEST, the festival of all things audio from the Radio Academy.
Five finalists will be pitching their doc ideas, from searching for forgotten slave wrecks to mapping the ominous soundscape of HM Prison Brixton, to our panel of expert judges including BBC Radio Head of Arts, Drama and Documentaries Rob Ketteridge, founder of Falling Tree Radio Alan Hall and the Listening Project’s Fi Glover. They are in with the chance of winning £5000 in Whicker’s World Foundation funding, with a runner-up receiving a not-too-shabby prize of £2000.
We’re giving away 20 tickets to the pitch and networking event in London on a first come, first served basis. All you need to do is email in**@wh*********************.com stating your name and – should you want to bring one – the name of one additional guest.
The pitch will run from 2.30-4pm on the afternoon of Tuesday 23rd May. Our event runs independently of the RAD/FEST sessions and visitors will not have entry in to the main auditorium until the winner and runner-up announcement at the end of the day.
