RAFA Deadline Extended

Whicker’s World Foundation are thrilled to announce that we have extended the deadline for our brand new Radio and Audio Funding Award to 28th February 2017. Audiophiles now have up until UK Shrove Tuesday 2017 to apply,  taking the pressure off the Christmas shopping… Phew.

The RAFA is a funding award for radio that offers £5000 (£2000 runner-up) to the best pitch for an authored audio documentary. All you need to apply is up to 6 minutes of taster recordings and an original and compelling idea for a full programme of  30 minutes or more. The five best ideas will be selected by our panel of expert industry judges and invited to an exclusive pitching event, to be announced in the new year.
